In our fortnightly auction of Antiques & Collectables, we always have sections for good jewellery, wrist and pocket watches and silver objects. Gold is at an all-time-high, and pieces of jewellery sell well at auction - along with gold cased watches, gold and silver pocket watch chains, designer pieces and unusual silver pieces. Whilst a jeweller will pay you a 'scrap' price for gold and silver jewellery, our auction house will generally obtain a higher price for the value of the jewellery, rather than the scrap.
