A 19th Century Indo-Persian Steel Shield, of convex circular form, with rolled rim and cut card type scalloped border enclosing an applied series of brass beasts, with four domed bosses, the whole with gold koftgari decoration, the reverse with crimson velvet cushioned lining and two rolled velvet handles (one detached), D: 36 cm.
