Kieron Williamson (contemporary): watercolour, Midday Riddling, from the Sand & Soil Exhibition 2017, with CoA from Picturecraft Gallery, and receipt for £7,350, with artist signed exhibition catalogue, letter to the vendor.
Annotation for Midday Riddling reads: This is the watercolour I had in mind when I painted 'Late for Lunch', I like the main focus of the painting being set higher on the paper allowing the foreground to melt away. One of the first times I had used gouache, and I found it useful in adding 'body' to the figures.
Midday Riddling was painted by Williamson aged fourteen in 2017.
