Mont Blanc: Patron of Art limited edition fountain pen, Pope Julius II, 1757/4810. It pays tribute to the most influential clerical patrons of the arts who transformed Rome into the cultural centre of Renaissance. Commissioning the Frescoes of the Sistine Chapel and Church of St. Peter, cream coloured lacquer and 18c gold plated with lattice design that recalls the colours of the Papal dress. The cap symbolises the Pontifex Maximus Tiara, 18ct gold engraved with the Coat of Arms of Julius II. Piston loading system, the pen is new and unused in original box and outer sleeve. P&P Group 1 (£14+VAT for the first lot and £1+VAT for subsequent lots)
