Attributed to John Astley (1711 - 1784): an oil on canvas, half-length portrait of a young gentleman, probably a member of the Irish gentry. Attribution and correspondence between the vendor and Hugh Belsey (British Art Historian and formerly curator of Gainsboroughs house, Sudbury), whose opinion is that this is an example of Astleys work. 53 x 64 cm, unsigned. Not available for in-house P&P
